M62 Texting Lorry Driver Sentenced to 5 years and 3 months

I could not help but notice this story as I think it is a reflection of how serious texting whilst driving really can be. I see people texting and on the phone whilst driving every day and I cannot help but feel that they think that all they are risking is three points.

As lawyers we will always try and assist people who are at risk of losing there driving licence but at the same time our advice would always be to do what you can to avoid a driving offence.
